Statement by David Haigh on Jake Daniels of Blackpool FC coming out as Gay
Following months of work and zigzagging between Dubai, Leeds, London, Bahrain and Monaco, the day finally arrived. Last night we exchanged contracts and the takeover of Leeds United was completed. Today we formally announced the takeover at a press conference at the club with LUFC Chief Executive, Shaun Harvey, myself and my colleague Salem Patel facing the cameras and the media. One chapter of my life closing and now onto the next and far more challenging chapter of being in charge of Leeds United.
